The shape of Block 11 is integrated into a layered curvilinear profile to adapt to different street and building alignments.
The sinuous geometry delimit the north facing public space under the overall plan, while preserving the transitional green space on Wellington Street.
Block 11, the last project in Central Park, has been reimagined for maximum proximity to existing Wellington Street residences, benefiting both new and existing residents.
The material palette of terracotta, metal (aluminum) and glass provides a contemporary reference to the site's existing masonry with durable and cost effective materials.
The development complements Broadway's iconic glass buildings and will reinforce Chippendale's tradition.
